Structured content. Practical demonstrations. Better delivery.
Bluestream at ConVEx 2025
Bluestream’s March 2025 announcement set out plans to join the ConVEx community for three days of discussion around content management, structured authoring and digital transformation.
Hosted by the Center for Information-Development Management (CIDM), the conference connected technical communication professionals around practical content challenges. Bluestream’s planned contribution focused on XDocs, XDelivery and the decisions that make structured content useful to its readers.
The invitation included booth conversations, hands-on demonstrations and a Technology Test Kitchen experience. These remain the activities described in the original announcement, rather than a claim about attendance, feedback or results.
The original programme focus
From the source to the delivery experience
Demonstrations were intended to connect the work of managing DITA content with the experience of finding and using it. XDocs and XDelivery address related stages in that journey.
A useful evaluation follows a real piece of information: how it is maintained, where it is reused, what makes it relevant to a particular user and how that user reaches it.

Explore XDocs DITA CCMS for structured content management and XDelivery for documentation delivery.

The delivery themes in the programme remain useful prompts for a content project. How quickly can approved changes reach readers? Which metadata belongs at the delivery tier? Can users see the right product and version without navigating an entire manual?
Start with those questions and a representative content set. Then test the authoring, management and delivery steps together. The objective is a reliable path from approved source knowledge to the information a user can act on.
