Connect people to knowledge across the organization
Useful information can be difficult to find when it is spread across departments and systems. XDelivery brings published content into a common delivery experience, with access controls, application integrations and permissioned feedback to support the people who use and maintain it.
Create a shared place to look
Bring published technical information from multiple sources into a centralized delivery experience. Give teams a clearer starting point for finding material from their own department and other departments, with content organization designed around the questions employees need to answer.
Define who can access what
Control access to content through configured permissions. Consider the audiences for shared guidance and restricted material alongside your deployment requirements, with hosted and on-premises options available to support the implementation discussion with your IT and content teams.
Connect feedback to content owners
Enable comments where they are useful and permission participation by user or group. Feedback can be round-tripped to your CCMS, giving authors a route to review suggestions in the context of the content that prompted them.

From an employee question to a better reference
Find shared content
Find the shared guidance
An employee starts in the portal or an integrated application and looks for the relevant content. The configured access rules determine which published information is available to that person.
Contribute feedback
Flag what needs attention
Where commenting is enabled for their user or group, the employee adds feedback to the relevant documentation page. They explain the question or suggested improvement in its immediate content context.
Review and refresh
Review and refresh
Content owners review the feedback through the configured process, including CCMS round-tripping where implemented. They decide whether a change is needed and publish the approved update through the established workflow.

Shared information, defined access
Plan a common experience across departmental boundaries
Centralizing delivery starts with understanding who needs which information. Identify the content that can be shared broadly, the material that belongs to a specific group and the source teams responsible for maintaining it. XDelivery provides access controls and deployment choices that support this planning. Build the portal structure around employee needs, then test it using representative roles and questions. Involve IT in the deployment and integration decisions so the content experience and the organization’s operating requirements are considered together from the beginning.

Connect the portal to the systems and people around it
APIs can distribute XDelivery content to other internal sites and applications, helping you place published information where employees already work. Permissioned commenting adds a way for readers to contribute context when guidance needs attention. Define the destination applications, access rules and content owners before implementing those connections. Where feedback is round-tripped into a CCMS, agree how authors will review it and how approved changes will return to the delivery experience. The result is a defined workflow for sharing information and maintaining its usefulness.
Your questions, answered
Practical questions about your delivery experience
Can different departments have different access?
XDelivery allows you to control access to content. Define the material shared across the organization and any audience-specific restrictions, then configure and test permissions against representative users. Access planning should involve the teams responsible for the information.
Can we deploy it in our own environment?
Hosted and on-premises deployment options are available. The appropriate choice depends on your operational requirements and integration needs. Discuss the intended environment with your IT team and Bluestream as part of defining the implementation, ownership and support arrangements.
Can content be used inside another application?
XDelivery APIs support distribution to other sites and applications. Each connection needs a defined purpose, content scope and access model. Review those requirements with the owners of the receiving application before deciding how the integration should be implemented.
Who can comment, and what happens to feedback?
Commenting can be permissioned for users and groups. Comments can also be round-tripped to a CCMS so authors can review suggestions. Your configured workflow should identify who receives feedback, how it is assessed and how approved updates are published.
